The mission of the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (Board) is to protect the public. Here you can find out about the CGFNS certification and testing programs. You will need to contact your state Board of Nursing to determine if the CGFNS is required before you can take the NCLEX®.
